Nargacuga is a recurring monster in theMonster Hunterseries that is quite popular among fans. Now those fans who appreciate seeing Nargacuga every time it appears in the series, and especially those who appreciate its armor, will find the newMonster Hunterstatue from Animegami, worth checking out.

The statue itself is of the female hunter wearing the Nargacuga Alpha+ armor set fromMonster Hunter World: Iceborne. Fans of Nargacuga and theMonster Hunterseries will recognize the armor’s ninja-inspired theming and the headpiece reminiscent of Nargacuga’s ears. Also of note is a downy crake at the back of the statue under thehunter’s Nargacuga great sword.

As for the price, those interested in the statue will need to shell out $49.99. There is also a standalone statue that is of Nargacuga itself for the same price. Those interested in both can get them together for a slight discount with both statues together costing a total of $94.99.

Nargacuga was first introduced inMonster Hunter Freedom Uniteback in 2009 for the PSP, so the monster has been around for over a decade. Its reappeared in multiple games since then, with the most recent being the aforementionedIceborne. It has yet to beconfirmed to appear inMonster Hunter Rise.

Nargacuga is a flying type wyvern that can attack hunters with its quick movements and spiked tail. It can sometimes get that spiked tail stuck in the ground, however, which leaves it wide open to attacks from a hunter.

There have also been a couple of different types of Nargacuga over the years such as the Green Nargacuga or the Silverwind Nargacuga. The latter is a deviant from found inMonster Hunter Generationsand is a more aggressive Nargacuga that has previously survived an encounter with a hunter. The Green Nargacuga meanwhile only appeared in the West inMonster Hunter 3 Ultimate, but it was also available in thePokemon-esque spin-offMonster Hunter Stories.
