Secondly, these dates are right after the EVO 2019 fighting game tournament, which is scheduled to take place from August 2 to August 4.
There is a precedent for fighting game companies to make big announcements at EVO, and so it wouldn’t be all that surprising if NetherRealm announced theMortal Kombat 11Nightwolf release date at the event. Combine the timing with the fact that the source of the leak is Nintendo itself, and it seems that theNightwolfrelease date will in fact be August 13 for Kombat Pack owners and August 20 for everyone else.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that the leaked release date for Nightwolf is inaccurate. Maybe whoever added that information to Nintendo’s website was mistaken, or maybe NetherRealm’s release date plans for the character will change.
