Some information and rumors in regards to upcoming PS4 exclusiveThe Last of Us 2have been coming out as of late, including thepossibility of the game releasing in 2019. It seems that Naughty Dog are now looking to fill some positions to help work on the title.
Taking to Twitter, the developer posted what positions they currently have open for work onThe Last of Us 2. There are multiple roles the company is looking to fill in a variety of different departments. Some of the areas with the most positions to fill are in the Art/Animation, Game Design, and Programming departments. The last few areas with open positions are Audio, Communications, IT, and Recruiting. However, those areas don’t have as many roles that need filled.
There hasn’t been any confirmation from Naughty Dog on whether these positions needing filled is impacting the development or possible release window for the game. Of course, the company probably wouldn’t be posting to fill these positions if it wasn’t affecting the development in some way. However, the company may just be looking to add to their current team to help get the game finished quicker, as well.
Not much else has been revealed regarding details about the title as of late. It has been confirmed thatThe Last of Us 2gameplay will be shown at this year’s E3, which will take place next month. This was confirmed not too long ago by Sony itself. The game was officially revealed as being in development over a year ago.
With E3 just around the corner, that means fans won’t have to wait too much longer to get more information about the game. Gameplay is probably not the only thing that will be shown at the event regardingThe Last of Us 2. The game is set to be part ofSony’s E3 press conference, which usually means we can expect one of the developers to showcase not just gameplay, but more details about the game itself.
The Last of Us 2is currently in development for PS4 but does not have a set release date as of yet.
