Most native current-gen games give users an option between multiple graphics modes, usually featuring a choice between better graphics at 30 FPS and 60 FPS gameplay, with some even havingsupport for 120 FPS on PS5. However, a few PS5 games are capped at 30 FPS, withGotham Knightsbeing one of the biggest examples of this limitation. One game from PS Plus Extra’s March lineup also came without a 60 FPS performance mode, but it has now received a new update that adds this feature.

Tchiawill now run at 60 FPS at 1080p on PS5 thanks to a new update, with the patch also resolving crashes experienced in some cutscenes. Additionally, this update will fix some minor bugs and improve the overall polish of the game on all platforms.Tchialaunched with positive reviews as day one open world release on PS Plus Extra and Premium, and fans can now play it at 60 FPS, with a separate option for fidelity mode as well.
Fans interested in the game should note that it will take around 12 to 15hours to beat the main story ofTchia. However, there are plenty of collectibles to find inTchia, allowing gamers to increase the total time they spend in the world, with a 100% run likely taking over 20 hours to complete.
AlongsideTchia, Sony added some notable games toPS Plus Extra and Premium in March 2023, includingUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection,Immortals Fenyx Rising,Life is Strange 2, andRainbow Six Extraction.Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotis also a part of the lineup, although only the PS4 version is available to PS Plus Extra members.
Sony has not added many games asday one releases to PS Plus Extra, maintaining that it believes in a premium launch for video games. PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida compared this approach to how movies are first available in theaters before coming to pay-per-view or streaming services, before mentioning that games could come to PS Plus after six to 12 months of their release. There are some exceptions to this practice, withStraylaunching on PS Plus Extra as a day one release in July 2022.
