Many fans have been eagerly awaiting more gameplay footage from Bethesda’s upcoming online multiplayer game,Fallout 76. Bethesda has given many details about the game since it was announced at E3 this year, such ashow many players it will supportand the map size, but there has been very little gameplay footage of the game made available thus far. Bethesda has recently revealed that will change on Monday, October 8th, when fans will finally be able to see more gameplay footage fromFallout 76.
Bethesda recently held an event where a select number of invitees with prominent YouTube and Twitch accounts were able to playFallout 76and record the gameplay footage. As a result, a variety of YouTube channels and other sources are currently sitting on hours and hours of footage from the game, which they will be allowed to release on October 8th. Pete Hines, who is head of marketing at Bethesda, recently replied to a fan on Twitter regarding the lack ofFallout 76gameplay footage, stating that there would soon be “like, 400 hours of Fallout 76 footage to watch.”
Of course, the timing of this could not be better, as theFallout 76Beta will go live only a few weeks after the release of the multitude of gameplay footage, which is sure to get fans even more excited for the Beta. Despite the fact that this type of event usually only allows invitees to play specific sections of the game, fans will be eager to see the features that Bethesda has spoken about in action. For example, Bethesda has yet to show clear examples of thePvP mechanics, emotes, trading, and VATS, among many other things in the game.
Fallout 76fans should be sure to keep an eye on Youtube and other platforms next week Monday, as it will be flooded withFallout 76gameplay footage. We also look forward to being able to see footage from theFallout 76Betasoon, as Beta players have been given permission by Bethesda to share footage from the Beta on the Internet.
Fallout 76launches on June 28, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Beta starts on October 23 for Xbox One and then October 30 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
