The game is also rumored to have a huge gameplay shake-up in store for the series, similar to 2018 before it.
According to rumors, thegame is set to be a 2.5D Metroidvania-style game, departing from the RPG mechanics and over-the-shoulder camera of the two modernGod of Wargames. The drastic change in game design would be on the same level in terms of scale as the previous series overhaul fromGod of War 3toGod of War(2018).
