A newNintendo Switch 2bundle has been revealed, but, much like theMario Kart Worldbundle from the initial console launch, it will only be available for a limited time. As of this writing, the exact pre-order time kick-off is a mystery. Interestingly, the new bundle is the same price as theMario Kart Worldone, despite the new bundle game itself being a bit cheaper thanMario Kart World’s $80 price tag.
Posted onNintendo’s website, there will be anew Switch 2 bundle available on October 16 that comes withPokémon Legends: Z-A. The bundle is limited-time, much like theMario Kart Worldone, and it will also be $499.99. Pre-orders are not yet available, but should be up sometime very soon. The normally $69.99 game will be a download code, not a physical game.

Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles Are Still Hard To Buy
It’s A Hot Item
As most fans probably expected, theSwitch 2 is still hard to come by, even a month and a half post-release. Thepre-order kickoff was a disaster, with several retailers' websites crashing, refusing payments, and excruciatingly long wait times. Since then, some fans have managed to acquire a Switch 2 just by walking into various stores, like Walmart or Target, but the majority of prospective buyers are still struggling to find one in the wild.
Despite other controversies, like the higher-than-expected price tag, which even led to a digital protest during a Nintendo Treehouse livestream, theSwitch 2 has become the fastest-selling console in history, andNintendo itself predicted high salesfor its first year on the market. For such a hot-ticket item, this new bundle might help fans grab a Switch 2 this fall.

A Pokémon Bundle Was Definitely Expected
Pokémon is One Of The Biggest Franchises In The World
Now thatDonkey Kong Bananzais out as aGame of the Year contender, the next major first-party release from Nintendo with a release date isPokémon Legends: Z-A.It isn’t too surprisingthatNintendo would release another bundle for fans that haven’t been able to get a Switch 2 yet, especially withPokémonbeing one of the biggest franchises in the world.
The bundle is releasing onthe same day asPokémon Legends: Z-A. Much like theMario Kart Worldbundle, we may see the game out in the wild before its official release date, so fans may have to be wary of spoilers. Still, another opportunity to get theNintendo Switch 2is great, especially if fans had no interest inMario Kart. Hopefully, the pre-orders will go much smoother than the launch did.
