Only Murders in the Building’s executive producer, Dan Fogelman, offers an update three months into production. Led by Steve Martin (Charles), Martin Short (Oliver), and Selena Gomez (Mabel), the core crime-solving trio has been on set since March for season 5, picking up after the shocking twist of Lester’s death at theend ofOnly Murders in the Buildingseason 4. Similar to previous seasons, the new season will consist of 10 episodes and feature a strong cast of guest stars.
In an interview withCollider, Fogelman shared where they were in production after three months. The executive producer revealed thatthey were “almost done” with filming the upcoming season.Fogelman also shared that he has seen more than half the season so far, as he has seen “six” of the 10 episodes.
