Summary

APokemonfan has recently designed a new past Paradox form for Dragapult. Ever since these new forms were introduced inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, they have been very popular within thePokemoncommunity, and are often the subject of fan art.

Dragapult is a Dragon/Ghost-type Pokemon that first appeared inthe eighth generation ofPokemongames, withPokemon Sword and Shield. This monster is the final form of Dreepy, which evolves to Drakloak at level 50, and then Dragapult at Level 60. Dragapult is among the so-called “pseudo-legendary Pokemon,” a fan term that refers to late-stage creatures that have very high stats and that only achieve their final form at high levels.

Now, a prolificPokemonfan artist called JJonnie has shared their latest work, a past Paradox form for Dragapult, which is a Dragon/Flying-type creature called Falling Nest. The original Dragapult looks like a reptile with a head that resembles a stealth bomber plane. Falling Nest still maintains this overall body shape, but it gains several feathers, and its head is not so pointed anymore. In the drawing shared by JJonnie, the Pokemon is seen throwing several dinosaur eggs, which is a reference to its signature move Yolk Drop. With this ability, the Pokemon can lower the attack accuracy of a single target.

Dragapult Past Paradox Form Art

Curiously, this was not the first time that JJonnie redesigned a Dragapult. Last year, thePokemonfan created a Normal-type Dragapult. In this distinct design, Dragapult has long horns and uses its head as a catapult, launching its offspring at enemies when confronted.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetmay have been launched over a year ago, but it seems that unofficial Paradox forms are still in high demand. For example, a fan created apast Paradox form for Gyaradospreviously. The art gave the creature a much more feral approach, turning it into a furious red dinosaur.

Apart from Dragapult and Gyarados, yet another impressive Paradox form design was shared with the community recently. A player has createdpast and future Paradox forms for Torterracalled Searing Isle and Iron World, respectively. While the past form’s design put a volcano and a few islands on the turtle Pokemon’s back, the future form had a full aquarium on top of it, which gave it a nice futuristic look. Surely, the community will keep creating amazingPokemonfan art, so fans of these artworks should stay tuned to see more designs.
