Pokemon GOplayers can now catch all of the Alolan variants of first-generation Pokemon, but some of them can only be found in raids. AlongsideAlolan Marowak, Alolan Raichu is one of the Alolan Pokemon that players will have to defeat in raids if they hope to add it to their collection, but luckily it can be defeated by a single trainer if they go in with the right team of Pokemon.
InPokemon GO, there a number of Pokemon that can be brought into battle to defeat Alolan Raichu solo. Of course, the more players that are participating in a raid, the more likely the raid will be completed, but this means that even players in smaller communities should be able to defeat and catch Alolan Raichu.

Here are the best counters for Alolan Raichu, listed from most effective to least effective:
The top two Pokemon players can take into raids with Alolan Raichu are Gengar and Mewtwo. Mewtwo is only obtainable through EX Raids, but anyone who participated in the Halloween events these past two years should have at least one Gengar or two in their collection.
Tyranitar is also a good pick, and luckily, it’s a Pokemon that a lot morePokemon GOplayers should have access to than ever before. Assuming players participated in theLarvitar Community Day event, they should have been able to obtain enough Larvitar candy to get their hands on at least a few Tyranitars.
Overall, there are a lot of different Pokemon that can be helpful in soloing Alolan Raichu, or giving players an advantage against it. As long as players go in with a reasonably powerful team consisting of some of the Pokemon listed above, then they should be able to defeat Alolan Raichu before the time limit expires.
