Many things in the latest Pokemon games released for the Nintendo Switch console,Pokemon Let’s Go PikachuandPokemon Let’s Go Eevee, aresimilar to previousPokemongames, as this installation of the franchise is more or less a remake ofPokemon Yellow. As in many previousPokemongames, players will soon find a sleeping Snorlax blocking a path inPokemon Let’s Go. This guide will help players move the sleeping Snorlax by revealing how to wake it up.
Unlike other Pokemon inPokemon Let’s Go, Snorlax will not engage in battle when players bump into it. To wake up Snorlax and get an opportunity to battle it, players have to use the Poke Flute. The Poke Flute is unfortunately only obtainable by progressing through the story of the game though, and is not an item that can be bought.
In order to get the Poke Flute, players first have to defeat the Team Rocket boss located at the hidden game corner atCeledon Cityin battle. Defeating him will reward players with a Silph Scope. After obtaining the Silph Scope, players need to go to the Pokemon Tower at the top floor in Lavander Town and save Mr. Fuji. After saving Mr. Fuji, the next step is following him to his house. At his house, he will reward players with the Poke Flute, which they can finally use on the sleeping Snorlax. The final step is to go back to the sleeping Snorlax at Vermilion City, and play the Poke Flute to wake him up.
There are many other nostalgic elements inPokemon Let’s Go,such as Helix and Dome Fossils, which are also included in previousPokemongames. Unfortunately, the game has been met with a lot ofnegative reviewsfrom fans though, as they feel that the gameplay is too simplified compared to previous games in the series.
