This morning’s Nintendo Direct dropped a ton of new details aboutPokemon SwordandPokemon Shield. In addition to theSwordandShieldrelease date, the Direct also confirmed new characters, a crazy giant Pokemon feature, and tons of other bits of information. For most players, the confirmation of a few new Pokemon is the most exciting piece of information.

Obviously there will be a ton of other new and returning Pokemon that will be revealed in the months leading up to the game’s release. We wouldn’t be surprised if a few other new Pokemon and evolutions are revealed during Nintendo’s Treehouse events next week.
