It seems thatPreyfans looking for additional content to be added to the game may soon have something to be excited about. A tweet from the officialPreyTwitter page suggests that some downloadable content may currently be in the works.

The tweet posted on Friday consists of a gif seemingly showing the moon and teasing the idea that there may be a lot the player does not know yet about the game’s world. Some have taken this to mean thatPreydevelopers Arkane Studios may be working on a moon-based DLC for the game.

So far, no official statement announcing any upcoming DLC has been released from either Arkane Studios or the game’s publisher, Bethesda. However, it has been noted that a new Twitter account for KasmaCorp (a high-tech corporation referenced throughout the game) that’s followed by six members of the Arkane Studios team has been created. Whether or not this is an official account created for marketing purposes still remains to be seen.

Released in May 2017,Preyreceived somewhatpositive reviewsfrom most critics, with many praising the tone the game’s setting was able to invoke, but criticizing the title’s lackluster narrative. Prior to the release of the title, Bethesda did confirm that the game would receive additional content post-launch, despite a season pass purchase option not being available.

With Bethesda already having promised that the game will receive post-launch content, and now this promotional tease, it would be difficult not to believe that there is an upcoming DLC package for the game. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Bethesda will be holding abriefing at E3this year, so it may be possible that if there is any DLC in the pipeline for Prey, the publisher may be planning to officially reveal it at the conference.

When Bethesda will choose to officially reveal and release downloadable content forPreyremains to be seen. All fans can do now is wait impatiently for updates.

Preyis available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
