On November 3, Misfits launched a $20 million Misfits Creator Fund to provide its creators, including future signees, the resources and infrastructure to pull off their projects. Alongside this was the official announcement that QTCinderella had joined the company. Misfits also uploaded a video on Twitter, which was shot in a bakery, to officially welcome their newest member. QTCinderella also reacted to the video on her stream.
In a statement on Misfits' website, QTCinderella said that the Misfits Creator Fund would help creators andTwitchstreamers like herself to provide them with tools and a team to execute interesting projects. The streamer said a few days ago that she wanted to be part of a team that would back her up after TSM reportedly didn’t support her projects and content ideas. But despite her experience with her previous organization, QTCinderella still wished the people there the best and that she would still cheer for the team at esports tournaments.
Fans and fellow streamers congratulated QTCinderella on her new venture. Misfits vice president of communications Becca Henry said in a reply that she’s excited to see the streamer harness her creative energy in coming up with fun events and activities. Considering that QTCinderella has already created hit streaming events such as Girl’s Trip andthe 2022 Streamer Awards, fans could expect bigger and better versions of them with the help of the Misfits Creator Fund. She could also do more with her baking projects, just like when she opened her own cookie truck for a day.
