At the Steam Dev Days event last week, Valve’s Gabe Newellsaid“Our goal is to make [Steam] Greenlight go away. Not because it’s useful, but because we’re evolving.” As we wait for that day to arrive, there’s yet another large batch of games and softwareapproved for releasehaving obtained the requisite amount of attention from fans and press.

Most of these I’m seeing for the first time, but five do stand out. Most notably, the slugcat-starring survival platformerRain World; cat simCatlateral Damage; minimalistic platform gameLove; roguelike platformerPath to the Sky(check out that .gif!); and a multiplayer title in which you are your own teammates,Time Rifters. Like the last few groups, lots of niche additions to Steam.
