InRainbow Six: Siegeplayers usually get comfortable using their main operator but they are also constantly evolving. One day a really good operator will be bad and vice versa, and so Ubisoft needs to rework things over time. However,there has been one character that has not only been buffed and nerfed a couple of times but is also the first operator to be completely removed from the game in a casual and ranked setting.
To the hype of some players and disappointment of others, Clash is coming back very soon, according to theRainbow Six SiegeTwitter page.

Clash has been a problematic Operator since her release in Operation Grim Sky. Her kit involving a transparent shield that electrifies enemies to slow them down seems interesting for a defender. She is also unique in that she is the first shield operator that must put away her shield in order to use her weapon. Although Clash is an interesting operator, the many glitches with her shield could not be overlooked.
The ability to use an exploit to shoot through her shield paired with defenders who ran around with deployable shields covering their faces made playing in ranked or casual a nightmare. Ranked games became plagued with this glitch and the abuse of the shield meta putSiegein a dark place where players felt frustrated.Although Rainbow Six: Siegeis not perfect because of the glitches andstrange developer decisions, Ubisoft is determined to fix the game for its fans.
The recent removal of Clash was a response to a similar exploit with her shield. Hopefully, with the return of Clash intoRainbow Six: Siege, defenders can now have an extra backup operator in the form of a properly working shield defender.
Clash has been ahit-or-missRainbow Sixdefenderas some fans love her while others hate her. Admittedly,in some situations andSiegemaps, it can be hard to counter Clash but her return is definitely welcomed in order to see some cool Clash plays and her Emperor Palpatine electrical shield.
