Reacher’s streaming fate has been confirmed following the major merger between Paramount and Skydance, confirming the action show’s future. The merger between Paramount and Skydance has split TV production focus between two companies: CBS Studios and Paramount TV Studios. CBS Studios was in charge ofseasons ofReacherafter the original PTVS shut down, leaving the series' production fate unclear.
Now,Deadlinehas confirmed thatReacher, alongside its spinoff,Negaley, and Prime Video’sCross, will be moving production from CBS Studios to the new PTVS. All three had been co-productions between Skydance TV and CBS Studios for the last year, but will now all fall under the PTVS umbrella with other streaming TV shows that don’t air on Paramount+.
