From myriad airborne fowl to a wide variety of different land-dwelling creatures, there’s no doubt thatRed Dead Redemption 2ischock full of beautiful wildlifefor players to track, catch, hunt, ride, or simply admire from a distance. With this being the case, one fan has decided to grow the open world western’s count of critters by using their video editing skills to add their own pet cat into a hunting mission from the game’s single player campaign.

As seen in the video below from the Redditor andRed Dead Redemption 2fan known as “tiboac”, the player’s giant black cat replaces a massive boar that the protagonist Arthur Morgan and side character Hamish Sinclair hunt together. As most would likely agree, the hunting mission itself can be intense, but the results of Arthur and Hamish’s outing in the footage from tiboac easily bests any outcome that one might encounter in the actual game.

Of course, while tiboac’s clip is a fun little romp for bothRed Dead Redemption 2and cat lovers to enjoy, it’s worth noting that the story mode itself has no shortage of humorous moments–whether intentional or not. For instance, one unforeseen glitch that occurred around the week thatRDR2releasedcaused a player’s horse to spontaneously catch fire, with there being little to no warning at all before it happened.

Taking all of this into consideration, withRed Dead Redemption 2easily being one of the biggest games of 2018, it’s safe to presume that fans will continue diving into the title well into next year and beyond, and will use it as inspiration for their own creations as well. And should Rockstar eventually add the Rockstar Editor as a tool for players to use in the future, then we will surely see a plethora of fan-madeRDR2content flood the online space for some time to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
