While the originalRed Dead Redemptiondidn’t have much in the way of DLC, it did have theUndead Nightmarestandalone expansion, which was incredibly popular. Now, a newly discovered Easter egg could suggest thatRed Dead Redemption 2will receive something very similar. It is worth mentioning that this is an endgame Easter egg, so this article could containMINOR SPOILERS.

To find this Easter egg, players will need to travel to the well located in the abandoned down near the trapper in Tall Trees. At the bottom of the well,Red Dead Redemption 2players will find a lockbox, but perhaps more importantly, players will notice something strange about John Marston.

While in the well, players in the light will see a regular character model. In the dark, however, players will see a zombie version of the beloved character. Check it out below, with thanks to Redditor BrodytheBeast20:

Of course, not everything concerning this Easter egg is fully known yet. The John Marston above is incredibly zombified, but some are reporting more clean-looking, but still zombified, versions. This could mean that it depends onthe player’s honor, but that has yet to be fully confirmed.

Now, for those wishing to replicate this Easter egg for themselves, it appears there can be a bit of a misunderstanding as to which well players should visit. To help with that, here is amap detailing where to goto discover this Easter Egg. Because of the lockbox at the bottom of the well, it is listed as money.

All things considered, many believe this suggests thatRed Dead Redemption 2 Undead Nightmarecould be a something currently in the works by Rockstar. Although that remains to be seen, it would likely be a popular and well-received decision. In the meantime, players can be checking outRed Dead Online, with the beta being fully launched by the end of November.
