The media thumped Guerilla’sShellshock: Nam ’67for its moronic A.I., garbage controls and frustratingly narrow-minded gameplay. Understanding this, Rebellion Developments has set out to make a successful sequel. But, how does one garner praise in the new shooter climate?
Add zombies, of course.
Sometimes, it’s that easy.Shellshock 2: Blood Trailsis more than a mere history game – it combines the brutal Vietnamese conflict with some sort of zombie virus. Details about the game are sketchy and these “new” screenshots don’t aid the information plight. The majority of these are captures of theannouncement trailerfrom a few months ago.
If anything, players can now look forward to killing zombies in Cambodia. These infected denizens are probably different than the ones players have tackled inWorld War II, in a modern city or will fightin Africalater this year.
