Shonen Jumpfans have been waiting patiently for aKagurabachianime, and there’s even more evidence that it’s finally happening.Kagurabachiis easily the biggest newShonen Jumpmanga around both critically and financially, and while fans already love it enough to want an anime, there’s been no official word on it happening.

There’s no telling when theKagurabachianime will finally happen, but the evidence of it even existing is stronger than ever.Kagurabachiwas recently licensed for publication in Spain by Planeta de Libros, and inKagurabachi’s description on the Planeta de Libros website, it says thatKagurabachihas an anime in development, soKagurabachi’s anime might have accidentally been confirmed by its Spanish publisher. That’s still not an official confirmation, but this isn’t the first time something like this has happened, so with everything else taken into account, it’s hard not to see it as something meaningful.

Kagurabachi Already All But Confirmed Its Anime Ages Ago

The Kagurabachi Anime Is Only A Matter Of Time Now

This possible hint of aKagurabachianime is great, and it’s hardly the first time it’s happened. In late 2024, aKagurabachianime by CyGamesPictures was reportedly in development, and around the same time,an anime promo from Netflixsuggested that they would be streaming it when it finally premiered. The former was quickly retracted, and nothing has come of the latter at the time of writing, but if reports like these are still happening, then it’s only a matter of time before an official announcement.

Why Kagurabachi Needs To Get An Anime, ASAP

Why It’s So Important For Kagurabachi To Get An Anime

At this point, aKagurabachianime is an inevitability more than anything, and that, of course, would be great to see. Not only is the writing surprisingly fun whenever it focuses on developing the cast, but as many fans will attest,Kagurabachihas some of the best artwork and fight choreography of any modernshonenmanga, with every chapter finding new ways for the story to top its scale and overall quality.

WithShonen Jumplosing bothMy Hero AcademiaandJujutsu Kaisenin quick succession andOne Pieceslowly heading toward its finale,Shonen Jumpis in desperate need of a new hit to draw in fans, and whileKagurabachiis doing a good job of that with just the manga, a great anime adaptation be the perfect way to solidify that. There are fewShonen Jumpmanga generating as much hype and attention right now asKagurabachi, and hopefully, it won’t be long before it finally has an anime to keep that going.
