Silent Hill fis available for preorder, with a release date set for fall of 2025. The survival horror title is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment, the team behindResident Evil ResistanceandResident Evil Re:Verse, and will be published by Konami. The game will transport players back to the 1960s, to the fictional Japanese town of Ebisugaoka, where protagonist Hinako Shimizu must navigate the mysterious fog that has shrouded her home.

The game will take place in 1960s-era Japan, and, as a result, willfeature Japanese themes and locationssuch as shrines and oni (Japanese demon-like monsters). Since the title won’t have any guns,protagonist Hinako Shimizu will have to rely on her wits and melee weaponslike a lead pipe and a naginata to fight her way throughterrifying encounters with mannequin-like monsters, corrupted shrine maidens, and more otherworldly apparitions inspired by Japanese folklore and culture.
