Sony has revealed all the games coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of itsPlayStation Plussubscription service in April 2023. Like with the monthly freePlayStation Plusgames, Sony has established patterns when it comes to revealing the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineups. Typically, Sony announces the upcoming PS Plus Extra and Premium games in the middle of the month, and then adds them the following week.
This is true for the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2023, which will be added on Tuesday, April 18. When it comes to the PS Plus Extra games for April 2023, Sony has confirmed 11 games for the service in April, includingBassmaster Fishing,indie hitKena: Bridge of Spirits,Doom Eternal,Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom,Paradise Killer,Riders Republic,Sackboy: A Big Adventure,Slay the Spire,The Evil Within,Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, andWolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

What’s interesting about the new PS Plus Extra games for April 2023 is that a handful of them are actually Xbox-owned games.Doom Eternal,The Evil Within,Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, andWolfenstein 2: The New Colossusare all published by Bethesda, which is owned by Xbox parent company Microsoft. Withvery public bad blood between Sony and Microsoftas the latter attempts to acquire Activision Blizzard, it is a bit odd to see deals like this still being arranged.
