Sony has begun to send out a special gift to fans to celebrate the holidays, PS4 players have revealed. This is the second reason PS4 players have been given to celebrate this month after Sony hosted a State of the Play event where games such asResident Evil 3were officially announced.

PS4 players should look at their email inboxes now and see if they’ve been sent an email by Sony. The company is sending out an “exclusive” holiday theme forPS4players so that they can celebrate the holidays. The email says that Sony would like to thank them for a “magical 2019” in which they have “explored enchanting worlds, made new forever friends, and battled glorious fights.” Underneath this text, but not shown in the email image, is a code that can be redeemed to download the dynamic theme.

YouTubers have also posted videos of the exclusive PS4 dynamic theme letting everyone see it. It turns the DualShock’s face buttons, the circle, square, triangle and X signs, into constellations in the night sky. These stars twinkle and users can also see a shooting star go through the air. Under the menu icons, there is a scene with cable cars going through the mountains, a house with its lights on, and a reindeer looking across the land. It’s not as exciting as other PS4 themes, like theCall of Duty: Modern Warfarethemethat was released in October, but it is incredibly pretty.

In the comments of YouTube videos of the theme, PS4 players are asking how to get the code. Some PS4 players in North America say that they’ve been sent it, and some players in Europe say that they have also been sent codes. It’s unclear if every PS4 player will be sent the code or if Sony is only sending it to some players in some areas.

The theme freebie is just an added reason to celebrate in what has been a good month for PlayStation fans. There were alsodeep discounts of the PS4 Profor Black Friday, Sony gave players what they want by allowingMinecraftcross-play with other consoles, and State of Play offered new information on exciting new PS4 games.
