There was no shortage of cover-based shooters during the last console generation, butSpec Ops: The Linecut through the noise with its poignant story.The Darkness IIwas another chance to tear people apart with demonic tendrils, an opportunity that should always be cherished. AndThe Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, a puzzle game about paradoxes and pie, was just plain fantastic.
There’s work to be done, sure, but the Xbox One backward compatibility list continues to impress.
Also, let us never forget that Faith No More’s Mike Pattonvoiced The Darkness.
