Though the audience knows what is in store forHan Solo in the coming years, with the rise of the First Order, this period is relatively unexplored.But for Han and Chewie, true peace can never really exist without their beloved Corellian YT-1300 light freighter.
This series plans to explorethe various challenges the duo facesas they navigate a criminal underworld filled with opportunistic rogues and shady figures who have laid claim to their prized ship.According to Marvel’s official description of the series:

As this is also a period whereLeia and Han’s son, Ben, is still growing up and has not yet been seduced by the dark side,it will be interesting to see how Solo family dynamics unfold within the story as well.
The Millennium Falcon’s thief will be the gunrunner Gannis Ducain, who was first introduced in the 2015 novel,Smuggler’s Run: A Han Solo & Chewbacca Adventure, written by Greg Rucka. Notably, Ducain has stolen the ship in the past, though it remains to be seen if the upcomingHan Solo: Hunt for the Falconwill be tied to Ducain’s previous thievery or if it will be a new tale completely.
