5End Of Summer 2025

As we near the end of August, Spotify users Kevin and Jenny Kopff’s playlist is perfect for looking back on the summer of 2025. The playlist includes some of the biggest songs of the summer, likeSabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild,“off herupcoming albumMan’s Best Friend, and Alex Warren’s #1 single “Ordinary.”

Warren’s debut single spent nine non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The playlist also includes viral hits likeChappell Roan’s “The Subway"and underrated summer songs likeManeskin member Damiano David’s “Voices.“The playlist also has some throwbacks like “Thumbs,” a track from Carpenter’s second studio album, and “Nancy Mulligan” from Ed Sheeran’sDivide (Deluxe.)

These song choices go to show that summer doesn’t have to be defined by new releases. Even older releases can resonate throughout the warm season. Especially Carpenter and Sheeran, sinceboth artists have albums coming outat the end of the summer,

iI’s great to look back on their earlier work and seehow much they’ve both grown as artists. While the end of the summer is typically bittersweet, this playlist brings up the vibes, reminding listeners of all the memories made in the last few months.

The Tortured Poets Departmentwas a lengthy and less contained album. However, Martin and Shellback are great athelping Swift shape her songs, making for sleek pop anthems.

Martin has also been the master of popsince conquering the genre in the ’90s, meaning Swift’s confession that her new songs will be infectious is accurate. While it may be a sharp turn fromTTPD, Swift’s playlist will help fans ease back into Martin and Shellback’s style.
