Without a doubt, a bevy of gamers consideredTom Clancy’s The Division 2to be one ofE3 2018’s most highly anticipated games, as players had been excited to finally learn some more about the third-person shooter sequel from Ubisoft. Thankfully, the studio has now given folks an additional bit of insight into what can be expected from the title by releasing a brand new gameplay trailer during Microsoft’s E3 2018 presser.
Fans can get a look at the latest trailer for Ubisoft’sThe Division 2at E3 2018 directly below. Powered by the Snowdrop engine, the gameplay on display for the forthcoming action-RPG sequel depicts a team of Agents exploring Washington D.C., as they attempt to instill order in the city. A firefight eventually breaks out upon arriving at the crash site for what appears to be Air Force One, with the footage showing off several of the new features and weapons that will be used in the game’s cover-based combat.
Once the Agents clear out the hostiles around the downed Air Force One, their next task inThe Division 2’s gameplay trailer is to take back Capitol Hill from even more enemies, but unfortunately, fans don’t get to see the results of that conflict due to the clip ending. Perhaps, though, that particular mission will be featured in the action-RPG sequel’s forthcomingbeta trial, which was also announced today.
All things considered,The Division 2will have a lot riding on it when it launches next year, as Ubisoft Massive will need to ensure that the sequel receives a better roll out than its predecessor, which was plagued withserver problemson day one. Hopefully, the publisher and developer have learned plenty as far as the mistakes made with firstDivisionare concerned so as to give fans much more to look forward to with the second one.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2is currently scheduled for launch on July 15, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
