This article includes a brief reference to suicide.
Netflix’sThe Lincoln Lawyerseason 4 is already on track to repeat the two best episodes’ biggest strength, which will guarantee a great story. The fanbase for the Netflix legal drama has only continued to grow since the show debuted, thanks to the excellent storytelling and entertaining characters.
As such, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will need to meet or exceed the extremely high standards set by seasons 1 through 3. We will have to wait until the episodes release (most likely later this year) to find out ifMickey Haller copes with his most challenging and emotional storyyet in a satisfying way.

However, one way to virtually guarantee success is for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 to follow the trend set by the show’s highest-rated episodes on IMDb. They highlight the show’s biggest strength, which season 4 will need to incorporate.

In God of Guilt, Neil Bishop goes on the stand to testify, confesses the truth, and then dies by suicide while on the stand. The courtroom scene is a nailbiter, building tension perfectly over time. Despite some resistance from Neil Bishop, the detective finally reveals the truth aboutwho killed Glory Days. We don’t need a repeat of the suicide because that was tough to watch, but the rest is great inspiration.
Meanwhile, “The Uncanny Valley” puts Trevor Elliot on the stand to defend himself. This is usually considered a huge mistake in real life, but it makes for excellent television. Mickey has to work hard to prove his client’s innocence (especially sinceTrevor’s guilty of the crime), and the defendant isn’t the most convincing orator. However, Mickey manages to prove his point.
The Lincoln Lawyer Thrives When Mickey Is In The Courtroom
Although the interpersonal subplots are entertaining to watch, The Lincoln Lawyer is at its best when Mickey is working on a case and representing his clients in the courtroom. These scenes show that there’s more to him than just charm and optimism.
There’s a good reason why Mickey Haller is considered the best defense attorney in Los Angeles. The main character a dynamite in the courtroom. He shows off his expert grasp of the law and his ability to think on his feet. What’s more, in dramatic courtroom scenes, he knows when to press a witness and when to let them talk.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Needs To Get Its Courtroom Scenes Right
If The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 episodes want to land among the best, they will need to include extremely high-tension, dramatic courtroom scenes. Luckily, they’re already on the way to achieving this goal. The upcoming season will introduce“Death Row” Dana Berg, Mickey’s biggest adversary yet.
On top of that, Mickey will have much more of an incentive to win in his case, since it’s his own life on the line. Hopefully, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will follow the example set by “The Gods of Guilt” and “The Uncanny Valley,” providing audiences with high-tension, dramatic courtroom scenes.
