At long last,Star Warshas officially announced the release date forStar Wars: Visionsseason 3, along with episode descriptions that preview everything that’s still to come.Visionshas quickly become highly acclaimed amongStar Warsaudiences, highlighting various Japanese creators and drawing inspiration from all over in the process. Although it’s not canon,Visionshas produced some incredibly memorable stories, and now, it looks as ifVisionsseason 3will continue this tradition.
Star Warshas announced thatVisionsseason 3 will be released on June 26, 2025, alongside the very first footage for the brand-new season, at Star Wars Celebration.

TheVisionspanel walked fans through each episode and featured exclusive images, plot details, and exciting clips. While we still have to wait for a full season 3 trailer,we now have an outline forVisions' next volume and how it builds off the previous seasons.
“The Duel: Payback”
The Ronin returns from Visions season 1
For the first time,Star Wars: Visionswill be continuing the storylines of previous episodes, specifically from season 1. The first is “The Duel: Payback,” which will see the return of the Ronin from the 2021Star Wars: Visionsseries premiere. Images released at the Star Wars Celebration panel show multiple new characters, including a Jedi named “Grand Master” who will stand in the Ronin’s way.
“Village Bride: The Lost Ones”
Another season 1 continuation set after Order 66
The next season 1 continuation is “Village Bridge: The Lost Ones,” where the titular character will have to protect a group of children. It appears that these are children who were lost and displaced after Order 66, which means they could be hunted by a Sith or an Inquisitor.
“The Ninth Jedi: Child Of Hope”
Kara is on a journey to find her father
The final follow-up to a season 1 episode is “The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope,” which will follow Kara as she searches for her father. Images presented at the panel show multiple Jedi and possibly Sith characters, plus Kara speaking to a droid companion. There was also discussion of a war going on before Kara was even born, but we’ll have to see the full episode to know more.
In addition to this new episode, the panel ended with the surprising reveal ofStar Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, a limited series set in the same alternate timeline.This spinoff will release sometime in 2026 and delve into the Sith Wars alluded to in both Ninth Jedi episodes. This will allowStar Wars: Visionsmore time to flesh out one of its creations and truly take the franchise in a new direction.

“Yuko’s Treasure”

Moving on to the new animation studios forStar Wars: Visionsseason 3, we have our first look at “Yuko’s Treasure.” The titular character is protected by a droid named Billy, who got a huge “awwww” from the Star Wars Celebration crowd.A clip showed Billy helping Yuko after she crashed her speeder in Mos Eisleyand got yelled at by Jawas.
“The Smuggler”
A rogue with a design inspired by Han Solo
The next new story of the season is “The Smuggler,” a fun, action-packed episode following a rogue. The main character’s design was inspired by Han Solo, and there will also be a new planet made specifically for this episode.
“The Bounty Hunters”
A bounty hunter and his sidekick on a mission
This episode is described as a"Buddy buddy story between a bounty hunter and his sidekick. Offered a job by an unusual businessman - it’s a strange one. A suspiciously handsome businessman.”
“The Song Of Four Wings”
A stylish Star Wars story mech lovers will enjoy
As implied by the title, wings will be the motif of thisStar Wars: Visionsepisode.There were plenty of fun details hidden in the background of some images, and according to the presentation,“This is a must for mech lovers.“Fans were also assured that"The music in this work is also very unique.”
“The Bird Of Paradise”
Light vs. dark and dreams vs reality
“The Bird of Paradise” will showcase light and dark side versions of a character named Nakime. A clip was played of Nakime running through some forested area and being distressed that"Nobody’s here!“The story will also explore the difference between real and dreamlike worlds.
“Black”
An episode following a stormtrooper
The final episode revealed at theStar Wars: Visionspanel was “Black,” which has a stormtrooper as the main character. One image showed this stormtrooper in various color schemes, while a clip featured TIE fighters, X-wings, and the Death Star trench. With so many different styles, continuing storylines, and a confirmed release date, fans have a great deal to look forward to whenStar Wars: Visionsreturns for season 3.
