Tim Miller has revealed how Mr. Beast got his “evil game master” role onLove Death + Robots, explaining why he’s perfect for the episode. After a length production,Love, Death + Robotsseason 4is quickly approaching, offering 10 new short films in its anthology series. One of these, titled “The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur,” will feature prominent YouTuber Mr. Beast in the role of a villainous game show host. He runs a show for the rich on a space station orbiting Jupiter, where genetically-altered gladiators fight each other atop dinosaurs.
Speaking withScreenRant, Miller, who created the show, explains how Mr. Beast wound up becoming their choice for an “evil game master” inLove, Death + Robotsseason 4. He explained thatMr. Beast is a fan of the series, saying his inclusion reminded him of his Prime Video game show,Beast Games. In addition, he hopes the inclusion of him in the series can draw a relatively younger audience, who can take interest in the dark stories the show provides. Check out what Miller had to say below:

He is a huge fan of the show, which I know because he told me, and [because] I went out and visited his place in North Carolina, which is super cool, out in the middle of nowhere. He’s got posters of Love Death + Robots. He’s a huge fan, a huge nerd, and so I knew that he wanted to be in a part of a story if we could find the right one.
So, what better than an evil game master who takes such delight in putting these poor, helpless people through all these trials? It felt just like a Beast Games episode. I don’t know about you, but I watched that show and so many times I went, “Oh my God, that’s so mean,” so I thought he would be perfect for that.

I also think on the show level, he’s got this huge audience and this really devoted fan base, and if he can bring some of them to the show and we can widen the tent and indoctrinate some of a younger audience into the dark arts of animation, [that’s a] win for everybody.
