Kai Cenat has been banned from Twitch multiple timesin the past. The StreamerBans site started tracking Kai Cenat’s channel in 2021. His first ban since tracking started took place on July 24, 2025, while his second ban happened on August 7. Those first two bans only lasted one day, but Cenat’s third ban, issued on August 05, 2025, was enforced for an entire month.

Kai Cenat’s fourth and latest ban happened on Thursday, January 26, but it’s unclear exactly how long it’s going to last. Twitch has not issued an official statement explaining why it decided to ban Cenat from its platform, and it also hasn’t revealed how long the ban will last. However, the leading theory is that Cenat’s ban is because of a recent incident where heate edibles and passed out live on stream. Twitch has outlined clear rules about drug use in its Terms of Service, so while it’s certainly possible Cenat was banned for another reason, this does seem like the most likely explanation.

With this being Cenat’s fourth ban from Twitch, there is some possibility that he could find himself permanently banned from the platform, though it seems unlikely. Twitch has shown in the past that it is willing to give more chances to bigger Twitch streamers. For example,Twitch has banned Amouranth a whopping five times, yet none of the bans have lasted long, and she’s never been hit with a permanent ban. Considering Cenat’s popularity, chances are good that this ban won’t last all that long either, but exactly how long it will last is anyone’s guess at this point.

One permanent Twitch ban that the streaming platform has stuck to was its ban of Dr Disrespect. TheDr Disrespect Twitch banis still largely shrouded in mystery, with details as to why exactly he was banned never made public. While Twitch has not technically revealed the exact reason why Cenat was banned either, many of his fans have come to the conclusion that it was due to the edible situation.
