Twitch streamer odablock is sent a huge amount of money for successfully hitting a 1 in 100 chance. Large donations on Twitch aren’t uncommon and in 2019, oneuser donated thousands of dollars to set a new record, but the unlikelihood of odablock getting the chance is what makes this so special.
During a stream ofOld School RuneScapeTwitchstreamer odablock received a wager from a viewer in the chat named paruparoo. The viewer offered odablock 100,000 Twitch Bits, which is worth $1,000, if the streamer could get the number 99 using the random number generator feature on Google. Odablock took up the wager, alt-tabbing out ofRuneScapeto hit “generate” on the feature. Everyone was surprised when Google came up with “99,” which only had a 1 in 100 chance of happening. Odablock’s response to the roll is priceless as he jumps up from his chair and starts screaming into the microphone.

Paruparoo kept to their word, sending 100,000 Twitch Bits to odablock about 10 minutes later. When he realizes that the Twitch Bits have come through, odablock seems to lose it, screaming incredibly load, shaking in his seat, before falling to the floor. The video isn’t one to watch without headphones, or with the volume turned up, but odablock’s viewers seemed to enjoy it, spamming “Pog” in the chat.
Huge Twitch donations aren’t so rare and streamers can make hundreds if not thousands of dollars from generous viewers who want to send them holiday or birthday gifts or help them get better computers. There are also plenty of stories aboutTwitch charity streams that have made millions of dollarsas viewers who want to support a good cause all give a bit of money. However, it’s not every day that Twitch streamers get sent wagers like this and that they win by taking on 1 in 100 odds.
