Ubisoft brought a lot of great titles to its E3 2018 press conference, and one of the most anticipated games shown wasThe Division 2. This sequel to the popular tactical shooter takes players to Washington D.C. to attempt to restore peace to a recovering America. During its press conference, Ubisoft showed off a new gameplay trailer highlighting some new footage fromThe Division 2.
The trailer shows Division agents exploring Washington D.C. and facing off against a heavily armored enemy in the abandoned city streets. The trailer also shows off several different weapon types, including the recently announcedcrossbow weapon. Several player skills are shown off during the fight, including a drone and different explosive weapons.

This was one of two different trailers forThe Division 2released during the Ubisoft E3 conference. The other was anew cinematic trailerthat highlighted the growing unrest and chaos of a crumbling Washington D.C.
Also as part of the press conference, it was announced thatThe Division 2will feature new endgame activities, including8-player raidsfor players to take on. Not much is known about the raids at this time other than the player count.Ubisoft is focusing heavily on the endgame experience forThe Division 2, as players will also be able to unlock class specializations following the campaign. These specializations will unlock new skills and weapon types that are exclusive to that specialization.
Coverage forThe Division 2concluded with the announcement that the DLC forThe Division 2will be free to all players when they release during year one. The DLC packs will include new stories for players to experience, and likely new enemies fight and gear to collect. Hopefully Ubisoft learned fromThe Divisionto makeThe Division 2a more engaging and long-lasting experience that fans are dying to have.
The Division 2will be released on July 28, 2025 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
