Summary

AValheimplayer has shown off an impressive fortified Meadows base that appears nearly impenetrable. WithValheimoffering many build options, countless players have shared what they’ve made using the materials that they find, and this port is incredible.

Valheimbegan its early accessas strictly a survival game that offers some player agency with PC console commands enabled. Since then, the game has gotten its own version of creative with Hammer Mode, which provides players with any materials they may need to make whatever they can conceive. Despite this addition, many gamers continue to make their dream builds in Survival, highlighting the lengths they go to acquire the iron, stone, wood, and more that are required for different parts. OneValheimfan has shared an impenetrable port base full of multiple accommodations that they put many hours into making.

Reddit user Jacques-the-Spruce recently shared ten screenshots from theirValheimport in the Meadows biome. The outer walls extend to the sea, with two ships docked near stone stairs that lead to a tower and windmill. Inside the outer walls are two large buildings with a farm and a decorated arch between them. Inside one building is an iron cooking station, two portals, aValheimfermenter, a dining area with a flag, a stone oven, and multiple chests. The second floor includes a long table with gear on it and a Horn of Celebration, an armor stand with what appears to be iron armor, and living quarters in a separate room. The other building has many deer rugs overlapping, a forge with a cooler and bellows, a workbench, tool racks, a charcoal kiln, and more chests. A moat surrounds the base and a line of shrubs on the outside acts as an external barrier.

How Was This Valheim Base Made?

Given how manyValheimmaterials were used in this base, its fortification should be worth the wait when the forest attacks. The port may be more difficult for hostile mobs to attack because the water in the boat launch was made deeper than it would be in a standard Meadows biome. Only stone and wood were used in the creation of this base, making it possible to build in the early hours of the game. The entire base is level, requiring the gamer to use a hoe and pickaxe to flatten the ground in different areas. The player used the Plant Everything mod, which enables easier placement of items. This is particularly noticeable with the shrubs and vines that decorate the port. Beyond this, no other mods were used in the creation of this port, and noValheimconsole commandswere referenced.

As Jacques-the-Spruce has shared a link to their Seed save file, players can explore the port to see how it was built and how it could be optimized further. The relatively peacefulValheimMeadows biomemakes it highly unlikely for any mobs to break through this base, but it may not be as formidable in later-game biomes.
