A popular content creator has been ordered to cease production on hisWarhammer 40Kmerchandise, right before aSpace Marine 2helmet went up for pre-order earlier this week onWarhammer’s official merchandise website. The content creator has been making 3D print files for helmets and other gear from popular IPs, usually for cosplayers, such asStar Wars,Fallout, and more, for several years.
In a video posted to YouTube byGalactic Armory, the company representative and founder, Aaron, stated it had beengiven a cease and desist order byWarhammerowner Games Workshop for its creation of Titus' helmet fromSpace Marine 2and otherWarhammer 40Kmerchandise (viaTheGamer). Aaron estimates his company had to take down around 26Warhammerproducts, consisting of helmets, weapons, and armor sets.

Galactic Armory’s Creations Haven’t Pleased Games Workshop
No Future Warhammer Items Will Be Made
The officialCaptain Demetrian Titushelmet is available for pre-order onWarhammer’s website, and it will seemingly be the only place to purchaseWarhammermerchandise, asGalactic Armory has stated that it will no longer be making any costumes, helmets, replicas, or other items from theWarhammerIP. Aaron stated that Games Workshop is within its rights to have sent the cease and desist and harbors no ill will toward the company.
However, Aaron also expressed disappointment thatGames Workshop is persecuting its best fansfor bringing theWarhammervirtual ideas to life, a void that Games Workshop has not been filling. Aaron went on to use the analogy that Galactic Armory was a little bird in a crocodile’s mouth (Games Workshop), cleaning the teeth, knowing the crocodile could snap its mouth shut at any moment, but the bird was doing them both a favor.

Why This Latest Warhammer Development Matters
Fans Are The Ones That Suffer
Galactic Armory’s creations were of premium quality and highlighted the designs, ideas, and world ofWarhammerin a very positive light, andgave the franchise the chance to be seen by new eyes. The situation is similar to theReaper Scans closure, which provided unofficial English translations of popular web novels and webtoons, so that more fans could enjoy the products.
By preventing moreWarhammercontent from being made by anyone that isn’t affiliated with Games Workshop, current fans will likely be angered, and prospective fans will likely be wary of supporting a company that negatively treats its consumers. WithSpace Marine 2gettingmore updates in 2025, it’s likely disappointing for fans that a beloved content creator can no longer give the game, or the rest of theWarhammer 40Kfranchise, the attention many wish it would get.
