Rebuild the Galaxyseason 2, subtitled asPieces of the Past, will take things to brand-new heights with even more additions to its cast, including the fan-favorite Ashley Eckstein. Eckstein is the original voice of Ahsoka Tano, having debuted with the character in 2008’sStar Wars: The Clone Warsmovie. Soon, she’ll be returning toStar Warsonce again.

Eckstein’s Ahsoka was definitive for an entire generation of fans, most pointedly those who grew up with theStar Warsprequel trilogy andThe Clone WarsTV show. Audiences got to watch Ahsoka as she grew and matured, andeven experienced a real-life redemption arc from a hated character to one ofStar Wars’most beloved.

It’s hard to imagineStar Warswithout Ahsoka now, and much of that is credited to Eckstein and her incredible performance. It helps, of course, that off the screen,Eckstein still carries Ahsoka’s empathy, kindness, and hope wherever she goes. Eckstein’s Ahsoka is truly more meaningful than words can say, which makes her return that much more thrilling.

Ashley Eckstein Is Returning To Star Wars Next Month

Eckstein is set to voice Ahsoka Tano yet again inRebuild the Galaxyas the BrickHeadz version of the character. The precise nature of her role in the upcoming TV show is still unknown, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s hardly relevant.Ahsoka is always there to help, which she will likely be doingfor the heroes here.

Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Pasthas the power to explore various avenues due to its non-canon status, which means that Ahsoka could truly be up to anything.With Eckstein being the one to bring her to life, however, her return will undoubtedly feel like a long-awaited reunion, despite her role in the story.
