Mojo Is A Villain In The New Deadpool VR Game
Television Powers
The new trailer highlighted multiple villains and wasmore narrative-heavythan the game’s announcement trailer. It appears that Mojo will be the big bad of the game and is forcing Deadpool to recruit other villains, so Mojo can put on the best show possible for his streaming network. Then, there is a montage of villains that Deadpool is tasked with recruiting: Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, Mephisto, and Ultimo.
In the story setup, Deadpool is contracted by Mojo in order to make a lot of money. Thus, Deadpool sets out to capture other villains to become the Mojoverse’s biggest star, but discovers this job may be more dangerous than previously thought, staying true to comics.

Mojo First Debuted In The X-Men Spinoff Longshot
He’s Been Around For A While
Mojo isa controversial villain. Some enjoy his unique powers and motivations, while others loathe his unserious nature and unpleasant design. He’s been around since theX-Men: Longshotcomic series, and he also made an appearance in the popularX-Men ‘97anime. Mojo is a good fit for Deadpool, though, given his oftenreal-world meta commentaryabout lore-obsessed fans.
It remains to be seen how exactly Mojo’s role will expand throughout the story, or if he’s as simple as the game’s concept seems to make him out to be. Definitely not the most popular villain, but given how many other popular antagonists are inMarvel’s Deadpool VR, he might be the perfect fit, as long as he isn’t too annoying.
