Here are the four official releases included in June’s Games With Gold:

Xbox One

Xbox 360

As noted, both Xbox 360 offerings are backward compatible and will run on Xbox One just fine. In fact,Assassin’s Creed 3just hadbackward compatibilityadded today in preparation of June’s Games With Gold.

SpeedRunnersis side-scrolling multiplayer game where players race, using power-ups to surmount obstacles and impede opponents. The speed and dynamism of the gameplay made it a popular indie release at launch in April 2016. Microsoft’s hopingSpeedRunnerswill fill the multiplayer void of this month’s Games With Gold titles. It will certainly be a great alternative to take a break with while playing through the other, longer single-player titles this month.

Watch Dogsis the second Games With Gold title for Xbox One in June. That’s the firstWatch Dogs, starring Aiden Pearce, and not its recent sequel. The originalWatch Dogsis a single-player, third-person action game that has players hacking traffic lights, phones, or whatever is nearby on the fly to take down the omnipresent ctOS.

On top ofWatch Dogs, Ubisoft’s also delivering a second game this month.Assassin’s Creed 3is the franchise’s first foray into the Americas. Protagonist Connor may not have gained the prestige of Ezio or even Altair, butAssassin’s Creed 3’s a stronger title than most recall. The second Xbox 360 game in June is another classic,Dragon Age: Origins. While BioWare’s fantasy franchise was somewhat overshadowed byMass Effect,Originsis without a doubt the best of the three main games in the series.

Xbox’s Games With Gold for June start going live on June 1. Make sure to pick up the May titles that remain before the 31, which includesGiana Sisters: Twisted DreamsandLara Croft: Temple of Osirison Xbox One.
