There’s no doubt that many fans are currently taking advantage of the monthly subscription service known as theXboxGame Pass, with a recent announcement detailing a handful of new titles coming to the service next month. Now, the platform’s Director of Programming, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, has unveiled even more games for fans of Microsoft’s consoles to get their hands on by confirming the Games with Gold for April 2018.

As seen in the trailer below,XboxLive Gold members will be able to take advantage of free games totaling up to more than $129 in value, and they will also offer a cumulative 4000 points for one’s gamerscore should they complete all of the Achievements found inside the titles. The four games being offered for April 2018’s Games with Gold program areThe WitnessandAssassin’s Creed Syndicatefor Xbox One, whileCars 2andDead Space 2will be given for the Xbox 360.

As usual, Xbox One owners seem to get the best deal with next month’s Games with Gold, for not only are they being offered what are arguably newer and more coveted titles withThe WitnessandAssassin’s Creed Syndicate, but also they can enjoyCars 2andDead Space 2as well thanks to the system’s backward compatibility feature. However, some might push back against such an assertion, with a report from several months ago inferring thatXbox One users barely play backward compatible Xbox 360games anyway, rendering the argument moot.

All things considered, it’s safe to say that many Xbox One and Xbox 360 fans will still find enough storage space to accommodate April 2018’s Games with Gold titles, as it’s difficult for lots of gamers out there to simply pass up the prospect of free games. Speaking of which, those who have yet to jump on the titles included in theGames with Gold for March 2018would do well to act fast before they’re gone for good.

Xbox’s Games with Gold program will begin offering April’s new batch of titles on July 23, 2025.
