The upcoming Switch role-playing gameXenoblade Chronicles 2is a mere two months away and Nintendo is readying for its release. The game’s special edition is available for pre-order today, as well as a limited edition Switch Pro Controller that is also up for sale.
TheXenoblade Chronicles 2special edition comes with a copy of the game, a 220 page art book, a sound selection CD featuring various music tracks, and a metal game case. It’s priced at $99 and will release alongside standard copies on December 1.
Additionally, a limited edition Switch Pro Controller is also available. It’s color and theming is inspired by the game, with the recognizable cross design from the series present. The controller is priced at $74.99, which is just a little less than the special edition of the game, for perspective.
Nintendo pulled the curtain back onXenoblade Chronicles 2during the 2017 Nintendo Switch presentation at the start of the year. The announcement came witha short reveal trailerthat previewed some of the characters, and locations players would be able to explore. The trailer also included snippets of dialogue that hinted at the game’s story. The reveal came as a surprise, but a welcome one, considering the popularity of the original game.
The firstXenoblade Chronicleswas a well-liked title for the Nintendo Wii that garnered a decent following. When it was released back in 2012, the reviews for the game were very positive.
